Mandatory Online Registration

The club has moved to Mandatory Online Registration. Preregister for each event via Motorsportreg.com. To complete registration, you will be required to enter a credit card number or an alternate form of payment. If you do not preregister, there will be a $5 surcharge to register on site. If you’re worried about prepaying online and not making the event, don't be. Your account will not be charged until after the event has been completed.  If you don't show, there is no charge. This is part of an ongoing effort to expedite check-in and registration.

Thanks to the folks that braved the morning rain and cold weather to run another unique event.  We ran 5 runs in the morning and the afternoon was a test and tune.  Everyone rolled with the punches and it was a really neat event. 

FTD was taken by the Jesse and Mark took PAX.  A number of people were trying to dial their cars in for the Dixie Tour next weekend.  I wish them all the best of luck and I hope everyone has a wonderful time. 

Don't forget about the price change for non-members.  We will be sharing some information regarding passengers and spectators on site.  Join us online for our monthly meeting later this month.  Thanks again.

POS2000, 48.8

Thanks for another great event.  Those other kids missed out on a nice oddball addition to the repertoire of the Wiregrass Region.  We've talked about it for years, but today we finally ran a course in both directions.  Minus some random DNF's, this course probably had the fewest number of cones hit.  We even had a session in which no one hit a single cone. 

Matt once again showed off, but the car formerly known as the POSS2000 wasn't too far behind.  Everyone had a great day and the format made it that much more interesting.

Jerry Ledford - Afternoon Run STU 24

Thanks for kicking off the year with a great event. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day. This is the winter we're more accustomed to. Thanks to the Gulf Coast family for all of their help in running the event. Matt and the amazing lotus took FTD and PAX. Everyone seemed to agree this was a simple but difficult course. It was tough to put all the pieces together to make a killer run. It was fun nonetheless.
